Courses & Counselling
Courses
The courses offer knowledge about Autism and Asperger’s. They highlight common characteristics and common challenges. Above all, they are meant to offer insight into your unique challenges and talents, as well as practical and doable steps for you to take.
The result of every course is that you’ve tackled a challenge and that you’re able to make your life a little easier.
To make it even easier, individual support is available in the form of counselling.
Counselling
We offer counselling conversations. Counselling is a way to work through the process of what living with Asperger’s means for you. They are conversations with someone who shares your experience and is also experienced in counselling people. We listen to you, to your story. What it did to you. What you don’t want any more, and what you do want. Next, we focus on your capabilities, and how you can live easier with Asperger’s.
De conversaties leiden tot op jou gericht advies over:

- Wat je daarvoor nodig hebt
- Aanleren van de skills en inzichten
- Support in het aanleren en verbeteren
De uitkomst van dergelijke gesprekken is dat je ontdekt hoe om te gaan met mensen op een manier die past bij jou en ook het resultaat oplevert dat je in die situatie nodig hebt.

Hoe ziet het eruit?
We vinden de aanpak die bij jou past::

- Make certain you can repeat what is easier.
We offer a process of, usually, three to five counselling conversations (more or less, as required). The conversations are online. Together, we’ll find the way it works best for you (e.g. when to take breaks or the timing of when to meet). Usually, each conversation takes about an hour and a half and involves some written feedback and specific advice about what to do and what to let go. ‘About’: because they can be longer or shorter, as needed.

You will not be alone on this journey. We guide you along the way towards the goal you set. It’s our job to add ‘living easier with Asperger’s’ to the conversations (and to make it happen). We explore the next steps and assist you in finding the confidence to implement them. When, after our initial conversation, you decide this is not for you, there’s a no-questions-asked refund.
Counseling, geen therapie
These conversations are not therapy and do not replace therapy. We offer counselling conversations and present you with the tools and skills to live with Asperger’s.
In de gesprekken zou je ook kunnen ontdekken dat sommige aspecten toch nog enige therapie kunnen gebruiken. Dan helpen deze gesprekken je om de juiste therapeut te vinden en je eigen vragen te formuleren wat je wilt behandelen en wat het resultaat is dat je wilt. Op deze manier stellen de gesprekken je in staat de therapeut een vraag voor te leggen met specifieke onderwerpen en wensen die bij jou passen.
Prijs
Ieder gesprek van 90 minuten (anderhalf uur), plus de schriftelijke feedback, kost €150.
